Advantages of using RFID in wine anti-counterfeiting management

At present, there are three common disadvantages in the anti-counterfeiting methods used by most domestic wine companies:

First , most of the anti-counterfeiting marks have low technical content and are easy to copy ;

Second , the process of judging the anti-counterfeiting label is complicated and difficult for consumers to accept ;

In contrast, RFID anti-counterfeiting labels have advantages that are more suitable for industry needs:

Corresponding to a single product, the RFID tag has a unique ID code, which cannot be copied ;

· RFID tags are not paper products, not easy to wear, and there is no pollution or tearing, and also have the characteristics of waterproof and antimagnetic ;

· RFID tags have two types: read-only and read-write, with large storage capacity ;

The physical interface of the electronic tag reader is not directly open to the final consumer of the product, which can effectively ensure the accuracy of the information contained in the tag ;

· RFID tags can read and write a large number of target products at one time, with high efficiency and fully automatic data processing.

In my country's liquor industry, Wuliangye, Moutai, etc., as representatives of domestic high-end brands, have always been the key targets of counterfeiters. Therefore, these companies have strong brand awareness and invest far more human and financial resources than their peers in brand protection. aspects of research. In early 2009 , Wuliangye Group launched the RFID technology anti-counterfeiting project, which was successfully completed and put into use in November of the same year. The entire project invested 200 million yuan, aiming to build a complete RFID overall solution platform. At the beginning of the project, Wuliangye Group preliminarily realized the anti-counterfeiting application of high-end brand RFID technology with an annual consumption of more than 20 million RFID anti-counterfeiting labels . At the same time, it simultaneously launched multi-functional RFID query identifiers, specialty store RFID query equipment and handheld There are more than 800 and 2,000 sets of query equipment respectively. The huge capital investment indicates that Wuliangye Group has high confidence that the RFID label can meet the anti-counterfeiting management of Wuliangye's high-end products.

Some domestic wine manufacturers are ahead of the industry in electronic label anti-counterfeiting management. For example, in April 2009 , Changyu Winery became the first wine company in China to apply RFID technology on a large scale in the production field in order to prevent cross-selling and eliminate counterfeit and shoddy products . But generally speaking, the anti-counterfeit management of domestic wine companies is still relatively weak. It is absolutely necessary and capable for some high-end wine brands to adopt foreign advanced RFID technology to track anti-counterfeit products .
